Probability

Probability is the chance of an event happening.

Probability = favorable outcomes over possible outcomes.

It can be expressed as a ratio, a fraction, or a percent.
Outcome- Is one possible result of a probability experiment.

Favorable outcomes- Is a successful result of a probability experiment.

Check this out:

If you roll a die, the probability of you getting 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 is all the same.
They're all equal.

  1. Nice job Suzie! You finally made a scribe to Friday's math class. Haha. The last part of your scribe, was from today's math class. I think that would have been someone else's scribe. But, everything else is great. :)

  2. GOOD JOB SUZIE!! The scribe was a little late but at least you did it. Anyways, I liked that you gave the definitions of the important words such as favourable outcomes. But I think that when you said that probability can be expressed in ratios, fractions and percents you could've gave some examples. This would help us understand what you're talking about more. Some of the colours you used were a little bright so you should be aware of that and use less bright colours next time. I also think that you could've included some pictures, diagrams, maybe even a video or link. Other then that, great job! :)

  3. Good job Suzie! You explained what did in class on Friday but just like what Maya said the last part was from todays and not Fridays. You could have found a video so it could explain more about probability. Again good job!

  4. Good job Suzie! You explained what we did in class well. The colours that you used were okay... For the last part though you should have explained it better. And you should have put a link or video to let us understand it more... either than that good job!! :P

  8. Good job! The top part of your post was short, sweet, and to the point. However, I did not see a diagram to help explain it. You should also include a link and video to accompany your post. I also have to mention that the bottom part of your post was less than spectacular. The probability of getting 1,2,3,4,5,or 6 when rolling a six-sided die is 100%. Other than that, good job. :)

  12. Good job Suzie. Obviously the blog was a bit late. Make sure to remember it. There are no links pics or videos in the post. Try doing that. Otherwise good job.

  13. Suzie, I think you did an okay job. But one of the things that I liked were your colors, and when you explained probability. On the other hand, I thought this wasn't one of your best works because you didn't have a diagram, a link, neither a video to help explain. Also, the ending of your post wasn't the best example you could've done. I thought it wasn't as thought out as it should've been. So, next time try to remember to add a picture, a link, and a video. And also, make your examples easier to understand.
