Area

Area(a)- the number of square units contained in a two dimensional shape and also is the surface space a shape takes up..
Example:

Area of square and rectangle>>> Length x Width = Area

Parallelogram-
a four figure with opposite sides, parallel and equal

Example:
Height(h)- the perpendicular distance from the base to the opposite side.

Example:
Base(b)- side of a two dimensional closed figure.(SHAPE)

Example:

AREA OF PARALLELOGRAM
A=B X H

(b) is 5 cm and (h) is 3cm. Plug there values into a formula...

A = B X H

A= 5 x 3

A= 15cm

  4. Good post! You explained what we did that day and made your post very colorful. However, I did notice that some of your colors were too bright to see. Also, I'm not sure if some of your images relate to the topic. For example, your first picture the height, width, and depth of a cube instead of talking about area. The picture showing the parallelogram also does not fit with the formula given below it. Anyways, good job and keep up the good work! :)

  5. GOOD JOB ROEMER. You expained everything we did today and good job with the colors. It really stands out but if you were allowed to change the yellow font it would stand out more.

  6. Nice post!!! I like you pictures except for the fact that one of them is hard to read so maybe next time use a better picture. I think that the font size near the bottom is a little too big. The yellow that you used to explain parallelograms was too bright. So next time be aware of the colours you choose. I think that you should've gave us a reminder of our math homework for the weekend. Overall, good job. Keep up the good work. :P

  7. Good job Roemer (: I like the fact you used a lot of pictures and you showed what's height, length and all of those things. Next time, try not to use a lot of colors, especially the color yellow. Its very hard to see and it hurts my eyes .. Other than that, nice post!

I would like for you to just use dark colours next time. Thanks. Anyways, great job Roemer, keep it up my buddy. :D

  14. Good job on your post! I really liked all the different colors that you used for your topics. But I thought some of the colors were a little too bright that it was hard to see them. Also, I thought some of your pictures didn't really refer to the topic. So next time try and look for a picture that helps describe its topic more, so that it is suitable. On the other hand, you experimented with colors and explained your information pretty well.
