Area(a)- the number of square units contained in a two dimensional shape and also is the surface space a shape takes up..
Example:
Area of square and rectangle>>> Length x Width = Area
Parallelogram- a four figure with opposite sides, parallel and equal
Example:Height(h)- the perpendicular distance from the base to the opposite side.
Example:
Base(b)- side of a two dimensional closed figure.(SHAPE)
Example:
AREA OF PARALLELOGRAM
A=B X H
(b) is 5 cm and (h) is 3cm. Plug there values into a formula...
A = B X H
A= 5 x 3
A= 15cm

ReplyDeleteGood post Roemer!!!The post was good, but next time avoid using yellow, its too bright and hard to see.And maybe tone down the green also.I liked how you put all those pictures. Again Roemer, nice post!
ReplyDeleteI dont know how it went yellow anyways...i tried changing it to another color but it wondt change...
ReplyDeleteGood post! You explained what we did that day and made your post very colorful. However, I did notice that some of your colors were too bright to see. Also, I'm not sure if some of your images relate to the topic. For example, your first picture the height, width, and depth of a cube instead of talking about area. The picture showing the parallelogram also does not fit with the formula given below it. Anyways, good job and keep up the good work! :)
ReplyDeleteGOOD JOB ROEMER. You expained everything we did today and good job with the colors. It really stands out but if you were allowed to change the yellow font it would stand out more.
ReplyDeleteNice post!!! I like you pictures except for the fact that one of them is hard to read so maybe next time use a better picture. I think that the font size near the bottom is a little too big. The yellow that you used to explain parallelograms was too bright. So next time be aware of the colours you choose. I think that you should've gave us a reminder of our math homework for the weekend. Overall, good job. Keep up the good work. :P
ReplyDeleteGood job Roemer (: I like the fact you used a lot of pictures and you showed what's height, length and all of those things. Next time, try not to use a lot of colors, especially the color yellow. Its very hard to see and it hurts my eyes .. Other than that, nice post!
ReplyDeleteNice blog post Roemer! You covered about everything we learned that class. I liked the colours you used, except for the yellow, it was a bit hard on my eyes, and great video too! Great job!:)
ReplyDeleteGood job Roemer. You actually made me read the whole thing to see if you had any mistakes, but you didn't. :) Except the fact that you used yellow, made me have a hard time to read. I would like for you to just use dark colours next time. Thanks. Anyways, great job Roemer, keep it up my buddy. :D
ReplyDeleteGood Job! You explained everything very well. The colors were alright it was just the yellow and you had no mistakes. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteGood job!! You explained everything we did very clearly. I liked the pictures. :P The font size is a little too big though. The colours you used were good except for the yellow. Anyways good job!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job!!! You showed lots of nice pictures and explained everything good. But some of the colors were kinda bright. Other wise good job:P
ReplyDeleteGood job! A very well done post. Everything was clear and easy to read. You could of made the colours a little less bright though. The pics were very good.
ReplyDeleteGood job on your post! I really liked all the different colors that you used for your topics. But I thought some of the colors were a little too bright that it was hard to see them. Also, I thought some of your pictures didn't really refer to the topic. So next time try and look for a picture that helps describe its topic more, so that it is suitable. On the other hand, you experimented with colors and explained your information pretty well.
ReplyDeleteGood job roemer but i think the yellow is to bright!!!
ReplyDeletenice job you explain everything and you showed lots of pictures and its all colorfully.But the color yellow is kinda bright other than that you really did well .
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Roemer! I really liked your pictures, but some of them are a bit hard to see. You did a good job explaining what we learned, but some of the colours were a bit too bright. Other then that, great post!
ReplyDeleteGood job. I really like like how descriptive everything is. Next time you should use a different colour. Other than that everything else is good.
ReplyDeleteGood Job, I really liked how you used your font colour but probably, you shouldn't use yellow. It's pretty hard to read for some folks. Anyways, your post was terrific.
ReplyDeleteGood Job Roemer! I liked how you used many colours. Although I think you shouldn't use yellow.Also, good job using pictures, I don't think some pictures are related to the work. Good job. :)
