Adding Fractions with unlike denominators

Adding fractions with unlike denominators.

eg.1/2 +1/3

1 apple + 1 orange = 2 fruits

We must find something they have in common.
-like a multiple of the denominators on a set fraction.

eg.a common denominator for 1/4 and 1/6 is 12 because a common multiple of 4 and 6 is 12.
4-
4,8,12✓,16
6-6,12✓,18,24

eg. 1/2 + 1/3
p.234-236 ODDS FOR HOMEWORK:D

  1. Great Post Roemer!:) You talked about pretty much everything in class today and it was easy to understand and I liked the diagrams you used. Your post was quite colourful, although some were quite bright. One thing you did was at the begining you put the title twice, but that's OK, and maybe you could of put a vedeo or link for us, but you still did a great job:D

  7. GOOD JOB ROEMER!! I liked that you included all the notes that we took in class. Next time make the font larger and maybe add a link or video. Some of the colours you used were too bright so next time choose less bright colours. Thanks for the reminder of the homework. (:

  9. Good job, Roemer! I liked that you changed the colour of your font for importance, but I found that your font was a little too small to read. So, next time make sure you use a font size that is easy to read. Good job.

  16. Good job ROMEO I liked your post cause your colours brought attention from the audience but your writing was small. I think I know why you used bright colours.
